J & A Bathroom 2009 September 29, 2011Bathrooms2009, Bathrooms, shampoo cubby, walk-in showeralex A recessed moisture proof light brightens up the entire shower area, even when the glass door or shower curtain are closed. The accent tile band adds interest to the large white walk-in shower. A good alternative to an in-wall toilet paper holder. This stand alone piece also conceals two extra rolls.
J R Bathroom 2009 September 29, 2011Bathrooms2009, alcove tub, Bathrooms, curved rod, drop, shampoo cubby, Undermount sinkalex A drop-in tub was used in an alcove. Special attention was paid to the installation of a tile flange where the tub meets the three walls. This application allowed us to create a tiled skirt on the front of the tub. The same accent tile used for the tub or shower surround is often used as a vanity backsplash, to tie the room together. The closet and entry doors were sanded and stained to match the finish of the vanity and mirror.
M & M Bathroom 2009 September 29, 2011Bathrooms2009, Bathroomsalex The back wall of this small bathroom was entirely tiled. A niche was created above the toilet for storage. Fun with washrooms. An acrylic pan is a great, cost effective alternative to a custom built shower pan.

R & D Kitchen 2009 September 29, 2011Kitchens2009, Kitchensalex Solid maple cabinets, granite countertops, and custom tiling throughout. A great improvement from the original 50ʼs kitchen. As with most wall mounted microwave/hoods, this model has a motor that can be rotated to vent through the upper cabinet, and through the roof. The duct was painted to blend in with the wall. Hutch detail. Lights are inset above the glass sections to display the fancy glasses. The opening in the center makes the set feel lighter, and provides additional counter space.
