D M Kitchen 2011

A hard wired under-cabinet lighting system was used in this kitchen. The round lights are unintrusive and the wire is not visible, even without a filler piece on the front of the cabinets. Adding a filler piece to cover the lights often takes away precious space between the countertop and the upper cabinets.
For a more contemporary look, within budget, kitchen cabinets from Ikea were used.
A well planned kitchen: the sliding door was replaced and moved about a foot to allow for a hutch to be installed on the back wall. The lighting system is also completely new: symmetry is your friend.

R & D Kitchen 2009

Solid maple cabinets, granite countertops, and custom tiling throughout. A great improvement from the original 50ʼs kitchen.
As with most wall mounted microwave/hoods, this model has a motor that can be rotated to vent through the upper cabinet, and through the roof. The duct was painted to blend in with the wall.
Hutch detail. Lights are inset above the glass sections to display the fancy glasses. The opening in the center makes the set feel lighter, and provides additional counter space.

S & D Kitchen 2010

The peninsula provides plenty of seating space, accent lighting, and a warm and inclusive space with the living room and dining area. These are key elements for a new century kitchen. Whether we like to entertain or not, whether we have a large or a small family, kitchens are where we spend most of our time when we are at home.
Double undermount stainless sink. Trays provide drainage and additional protection from scratches.
